Requirements

18+ years old (except RSD students with supervision for service hours)
Mandatory annual training
ASL proficiency and Deaf culture proficiency for Tuesday/Sunday shifts
Monthly commitment minimum
Background check for leadership roles
Confidentiality pledge

Volunteer Opportunities

Direct Services & Food Pantry Operations

Tuesdays 8:30AM-11:30AM, Sundays 12:30PM-3:30PM

Client services and food distribution
Inventory management
Setup and breakdown

Food Rescue & Sorting

Mondays 8 AM- Noon & Thursdays 9AM-1PM

Physical work: lifting up to 45lbs
Unloading delivery trucks
Quality checking and inventory

Community Outreach

Event booth staffing
Social media support
Workshop facilitation
